Professional Experience
Saurabh Srivastava
Hello,
I am CA Saurabh Srivastava, a Chartered Accountant and an IBBI Registered Valuer with over 30 years of experience in finance, taxation, company law, FEMA, and business valuation.
Corporate Journey & Leadership
Before starting my professional practice, I worked with multinational organisations in senior finance roles. This corporate experience has helped me understand not only compliance requirements but also the practical challenges businesses face in their day-to-day operations.
Today, I work with startups, SMEs, established businesses, and individuals, providing advice on GST, Company Law, FEMA, Business Valuation, Income Tax, and Virtual CFO services. My focus is on providing practical solutions that help clients remain compliant and make informed business decisions.

Some of my key responsibilities included:
Managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow for business operations exceeding US$380 million across India and Bangladesh.
- Developing financial systems, reporting processes, and internal controls.
- Advising on international taxation and cross-border transactions.
- Working with senior management on strategic planning and business decisions.
My last corporate assignment was as the Chief Financial Officer of the India sourcing office of a leading UK retailer with operations in more than 60 countries.
During this period, I was responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, taxation, financial reporting, and business strategy. I also worked on international taxation, Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA), Permanent Establishment matters, and withholding tax issues.
The experience gained in the corporate world continues to help me advise businesses from both a compliance and a commercial perspective.
